MAJOR EKEOCHA CHARLES TAKES OVER AS ACTING DEPUTY DIRECTOR ARMY PUBLIC RELATIONS 6 DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY

With the redeployment of Colonel Aminu Iliyasu, the then Deputy Director Army Public Relations of  6 Division to Nigerian Army Operational Centre Army Defense Headquarters Abuja as Media Coordinator, Major Charles Chigozie Ekeocha  a new Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations ,  Port Harcourt Barracks has been posted  to replace  him and he has assumed duties in earnest.

Prior to the coming of Major Ekeocha, he was appointed, the Staff Officer grade One (SO1) Public Relations of the Directorate Army Public Relations, Army Headquarters Abuja. The hardworking Army Public Relations points man holds a Masters Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the premier University of Ibadan. With well loaded profile this well-groomed Public Relations Officer; Major Charles Ekeocha has worked in different capacities of Army locations in Nigeria as Army Public Relations Officer. Being an elitist APR officer he was Army Public Relations Officer (APRO) Guards Brigade Nigerian Army Abuja overseeing Nigeria’s seat of political power Aso Rock Villa and Media Officer Special Task Force (STF) Operation Safe Haven Jos, Plateau state. Given his astute performance he was sometime ago posted to the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji as spokesman.
