DCP ABBA KYARI TIPPED TO LEAD SWAT

As the Inspector General of Police Ahmed Adamu made the public notice of the renming of SARS to SWAT, rumours have been peddling round the mills that gallant and rugged crime buster of note, Abba Kyari a Deputy Commissioner of Police is tipped to be in charge of the SWAT team.

It could be recalled that DCP Kyari has successfully handled several high profile criminal cases involving dare devil armed robbers, kidnappers, assassins and many others. He has been honoured severally by the Presidency and state governors for his gallantry and optimum courage. DCP Abba Kyari was formerly in charge of Lagos SARS before being engaged to take charge of the IGP/IRT Squad. Among the many criminals he has arrested are the notorious kidnapper Evans, dare devil armed robber Godogodo, Abuja-Kaduna highway kidnappers etc.
