Assemblies of God Members Unites Over Dr Chidi Okoroafor

The controversies that seem to have characterized the operation of Assemblies of God church worldwide is now a thing of the past following the lifting of the suspension of a frontline pastor and teacher, Rev Dr.Chidi Okoroafor, a former Superintendent of the Church

The Town  Crier Online recalls that the church, years back has been locked in several controversies and court cases over who should head the church.

It would also be recalled that the Executive Committee of the Church had on the 3rd of March 2020 Suspended Rev Dr. Okoroafor, following the outcome of an investigative Panel; the decision of the Executive Committee was upheld on the 6th of March 2020 by the General Committee of the Church.

Penultimate week, the General Superintendent Rev Pst Ejikeme Ejim, General Secretary Rev Dr. Godwin Amaowoh and the General Treasurer Rev Dr. Vincent Alaje all attended Assemblies of God National Chapel Enugu, where the Suspension was lifted.
