Top Secret You Don’t Know about NNPP'S Guber Candidate In Nasarawa State

To many who may not be close to the Nasarawa governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubo Maidoya, but may have heard about the striking name of “Maidoya” a particular yam seller in Kano State, may be tempted to say that the same man have resurrected in Nasarawa state, because of the similarity and integrity linked to their names.

As a Northerner by birth, the name “maidoya” strikes a chord in the memory of anyone who may have stayed in the north, that the name “maidoya” refers to one who sells yam. Why, because he has a favourable price control and is human in his dealing and trading with other beings and these characters to whoever, has endeared him very much to the people of that area.

Just like the maidoya , this publication has talked about, Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya is also loved by many but the difference between him and the former is that he doesn’t sell yams, but a businessman and a politician who have contributed much to the development of our dear country and now want to give a touch to his home state -Nasarawa State.

The NNPP governorship candidate, just like the former, has endeared himself to the hearts of the people of Nasarawa as he is known for his transparency, philanthropy and kind gesture- that the light and Providence beckons that he should lead the people of Nasarawa to that glory yearn for by the people.

Alhaji Abdullah Yakubu Maidoya is the Managing Director of Maiyamco Investment Nig.Ltd and also the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigerian party in Nasarawa State, and hails from Unguwan Wajen Rabo Lafia in Nasarawa state from the humble family of Baba Yakubu.

His education started right from his early stage of life. He has his ND and HND from Kano State Polytechnic and his master’s degree from Bayero University Kano.

His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to establish his own company, Maiyamco Investment Nig. Ltd with branches in 19 states, including Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Adamawa, Gombe, and others, with its headquarters in Kano’s Dawanau International Market with top plan to develop 16 hectares of land on the Doma Lafia Road with an investment worth ₦2.6 billion.

Having done very well for himself in the business world, Alhaji Abdullah Yakubu Maidoya, is now in politics to contribute his own quota in making Nigeria and Nassarawa State a good place to be. He is aspiring to become the governor of Nasarawa come 2023 under the platform of the New Nigerian Peoples Party after he emerged victorious in the primary election of the NNPP as he got 347 votes from the delegates.

Mai doya as he is fondly called by friends and well-wishers even before his entrance into politics has demonstrated admirable goodwill, love and support towards the people as his philanthropist gesture is second to none in Nasarawa State. He has donated millions of naira to underprivileged students as scholarship grants and also aided in the empowerment of many youths in various Nasarawa communities. He has also been involved in rural electrification by purchasing transformers and cables for communities and his companies have employed thousands of Nigerians and people from Nasarawa as well.

As the campaign towards the race on wins the gubernatorial seat of Government House on Shendam Road in 2023, draws near, the people of Nasarawa are blessed to have a man called Mai Doya and they can be assured that that they can get a qualitative representation from him as every northerner knows that a serious minded Hausa yam seller (Mai Doya) will not sell bad yams to his customers and if in the case there is a customer complaints concerning the yams purchase, the yam seller will simply make restitution to please the customer. Mai Doya is credible and he comes with intimidating credentials. It appears he can take Nasarawa to the Promised Land.
