The Reasons Rivers APC Operate Two Secretariats -Wogu Boms
Many do not know that Senator Magnus Ngei Abe representing Rivers south East at the 8th National Assembly and his loyalist opted to open APC state Secretariat, the Director General Freedom House and former commissioner for justice and Attorney General, during ex-Governor Chibulke Rotimi Amaechi, Mr worgu Boms. Mr worgu Boms has now revealed the reasons behind the opening of 173 Aba Road Port Harcourt APC Secretariat. The Ikwerre born lawyer Worgu Boms few weeks made public statement in which he said “it has been said that senator Magnus just woke up and opened a parallel office. This is not true and we should all know, who profess belief in God and Christianity, remember that the Bible prohibits the telling of lies and makes provision for reward for lying. First of all, that party Secretariat was established by all party faithful who abhor oppression, absolutism, injustice, unfairness, contempt and lack of basic respect for fellow humans, all of which vices were elevated to party creed and least expression of disapproval of such traits was greeted with, “you can leave the party if you want”. Continuing Worgu Boms, The Director General of Freedom house senator Magnus Abe’s Governorship campaign office at 23 Evo Road GRA phase 2 Port Harcourt said “little by little all who were perceived to have association with the “leader- despised Magnus” were treated with even greater contempt and ridicule and injustice. It was a political as beginning with elder Chidi Wihioka, they were all ignominiously removed from the party leadership in their various LGAs.
It was at the 52nd birthday anniversary of the leader of APC in Rivers state, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi that the supporters of senator Magnus Abe were removed from their various local Government Areas leadership. However, Worgu Boms said “I was removed as APC PHALGA leader after many sponsored uncharitable write-up on social media about me. Not cared and I didn’t even utter a word. My past contributions in and out of Government were pooh-poached.”
The leader gathered the people I have been “leading” in Nnamdi Wokekoro’s house and told untruths about me and announced my removal. I was there, I simply thanked him and left, because he made it clear we should go. So, I left, what was my offence? I attended a marriage ceremony of his Pastor’s daughter to which he equally invited and promised to attend, it turned out that, he changed his mind on learning that senator Magnus would be there as chairman. He sent me a text to confirm that I was there and I said yes. He sent another text telling me I have, by that attendance severed ties with him. This was nearly two years ago, so don’t think it was “yesterday”. I still have the raw text as sent. It was close to two years or more, when this group of unfairly treated party faithful decided to put their political destiny in their own hands to find their feet on the party, they pioneered its membership in the state when it was risk to do so. That culminated in the establishment of the party Secretariat at Catholic mission Estate”.

The acrimony between senator Magnus Ngei Abe and minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was brought to the front burner on the 17th of June, 2017 at the 52nd birthday celebration. Amaechi grouse was not put on a plain table, but he used the word “disloyal” to justify his action of removing his political followers.
