Rivers: Succession Palaver May Tear Emohua Big Boys Apart

By John Amaowoh

The issue of who occupy the juicy position of Emohua first class traditional stool is becoming a source of tension in the area.

Penultimate week, Amb.Vincent Chituru Benson Okor, JP, Nne-Nwe-Eli  of Emohua Kingdom XII ,aged 117, was successfully laid to rest; following all traditional rite by the Emohua council of chiefs with powerful nigierians in and across the states in attendance..

The late Paramount ruler was all eulogised by prominent sons of the area who particularly described him as a “man of Peace” but, right now what may not be palatable in the kingdom is that the exit of the king has cause a huge gap in the LGA with diverse camps  clandestinely  seeking succession to the throne.

However, some names that are likely fingered  to be interested on the stool are; a former governorship aspirant and political bulldozer Chief Sergeant Awuse, A former Chief of Staff, Chief Eme Glory Emeh, Engr. Emeka Woke, current chief of State and others.

From all indication, the names mentioned are likely qualified to occupy any stool, but the unfortunate circumstances surround the stool is that they are not of the royal lineage claimed a source at the community.

So far, only time will tell as tension is already building at Ahiaezi Emohua over who succeeds the late king.
