Sack: APC Cross River Fortifies Members To Stay Calm

The ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged members of the party across the State to stay calm as the party file an appeal in the appellate Court.

The State Party Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Alphonsus Ogar Eba, Esq. issued the decree and hope of confidence to the party members heeding to the sacked of 20 members of the Cross River State House of Assembly on Monday, at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Before time, The People Democratic Party (PDP) filed a suit blot, FHC/ABJ/CS/975/2021, in counteract of the Cross River State lawmakers who defected to the All Progressives Party (APC).

The judgment issued by Justice Taiwo Taiwo, on Monday at the Abuja Federal High Court, however, clenched that the lawmakers, having abandoned the political party that sponsored them to power, ought to vacate their seats.

Conceding to the court verdict, The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alphonsus Ogar Eba, Esq . advised members of the party to maintain stillness and not to be thrown off by the bar ruling.

According to him, “The Federal High Court judgment that was given against our lawmakers is nothing to worry about.”

Continuing, “We trust that the appellant Court will do Justice as we file out appeal.

The Chairman, however, urged members of the party not to be distracted.
