Rivers State Top Politician –Chief Allwell Onyesoh Declares For Senate

There is jubilation in Rivers East senatorial District as Rivers state top politician Chief Allwell  Onyesoh has indicated interest to run for Rivers East Senatorial seat come 2019 Generals. The All progressive Congress –APC members loyal to senate Magnus Abe and THE MEETING political pressure group are all celebrating the decision of Chief Allwell Onyesoh to come out and contest the much coveted Rivers East comprising Obio/Akpor, Etche, Omuma, Ikwerre, Port Harcourt, Emohua, Ogu/Bolo and Okrika Local Government Areas of Rivers state.

One remarkable thing about rivers east senatorial district is the fact that has the state Capital as one of its enclave and host to major Oil and gas companies too.

Chief Allwell Onyesoh hails from Umuanyagu village in Etche Local Government Area Ward 5. And he has been in active politics for more than four decades having learnt much from his late Mother who was Women leader for Nigerian Peoples Party-NPP and later national Party of Nigeria-NPN in Old Rivers state comprising both Bayelsa and Rivers state in the second Republic. Those conversing for support for chief Allwell Onyesoh have come out with ALL IS WELL 2019 campaign organization while he is yet to publicly accept the clarion call by his people to serve them in the senate come 2019.

A survey by www.towncrier.ng indicate that he remains very charismatic, philanthropist and loyal to constituted authority.  He was two term Commissioner for Education and Commissioner for Sports during Dr. Peter Odili’s administration. Chief Allwell Onyesoh is an experienced administrator and technocrat who during the aborted 3rd Republic was voted into Old Rivers state House of Assembly.

Today he is popularly called THE OCTOPUS due to his ability to predict where the political electoral victory will swing to. As in 2015 he was appointed Deputy Campaign Director for Dakuku Adol Peterside Governorship Campaign organization. His political career took a new turn when he was appointed Chairman Rivers state Secondary School Board where the management employed 13,000 Teachers. He is widely acceptable in the senatorial zone due to his humane attribute and ability to carrying people along in most of his dealings.  Chief Allwell Onyesoh remains one of the most popular politicians the opposition and contemporary politicians fear and respect a lot. On November 26th 2017 Chief Allwell Onyesoh won ‘Grass Root Politician of the Year Award a Nationally recognized Political Award organized by City People Magazine at Lagos.

In Rivers East senatorial district this elegant amiable politician has no inhibition as he remains one of the most accessible politicians by all political groups in Rivers state and beyond. This is coming on the heels of the fact that he is someone who grew up in the area and he was a popular footballer in his growing up years in Port Harcourt.
