Rivers Guber 2023: Vote NRM For Credible Leadership – Yemisi Jackrich

BY ERIC OLUSESAN.

Non-indigenes resident in Rivers State have been enjoined to participate actively in ensuring the emergence of credible leadership in the state ahead of the 2023 elections. The Wife of the Governorship Candidate of National Rescue Movement, NRM, in Rivers State, Kilali Yemisi Jackrich gave the advice during a meeting with members of the Yoruba Community in the State at the party’s state secretariat in Port Harcourt.

She said a vote for her husband as the next governor of the state will culminate to an all inclusive governance devoid of any form of discrimination.

On his part, the Governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement, NRM, Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich called on Rivers people to be weary of politicians who have taken advantage of the ravaging flood in most parts of the state to gain political relevance.

He condemned the seeming negligence on the part of the state government to take proactive steps to mitigating the effects of the perennial flooding which has now become a yearly occurrence.

The NRM Governorship candidate while promising to salvage the state from mismanagement and treasury looting, condemned Order Twenty one of the state government, insisting that it was undemocratic.

In their responses, the Yoruba Women Leader NRM Rivers State, Adeleke Adeola and the Chief Imam of Chokocho Central Mosque Etche, Afa Nureni Oladipupo pledged their support to the candidacy of Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich.

They expressed confidence that Ambassador Jackrich has all it takes to rescue Rivers State from the shackles of bad governance.
