Rivers Businessman, Hon. Hope, Empowers 200 women with N20 million in Eleme

 

Businessman and philanthropist, Hon. Hope Igwe, popularly known as Hope Marine, carried out a massive Empowerment programme at Ekara town in Eleme LGA, Rivers State on Saturday

He gave 200 women N20 million (N100,000 each) to support their small businesses. This is second phase of his Empowerment programme

The event drew lots of dignitaries from far and wide including the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara who was represented by the House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oko Jumbo

Hon. Hope igwe said that though he has never held any political office, he understands that giving is love, and he is following in the footsteps of his role model, the executive governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, who has committed himself to the betterment of the state at all times.

He maintained that the time is right and the whole of Eleme has resolved to stand in solidarity with the governor because he is a good man who has put bright smiles on the faces of Rivers people.
