I remain the only aspirant to win Ekiti for APC -Opeyemi Bamidele

I remain

Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele, a former House of Representatives’ member, says he remains the only aspirant that can win Ekiti for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 14 governorship poll.

Bamidele said this on Monday while addressing his supporters in Ado-Ekiti.

He said that all was set for the official declaration of his intention to seek the APC’s ticket at the party’s secretariat on March 7.

Bamidele said that he had acquired a 12-year experience in governance in Lagos State where he served first as a Special Adviser before he was appointed a Commissioner.

He said that he had also represented Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II at the lower chamber of the National Assembly (NASS) for four years.

He described himself as a man of the people, who had attracted 88 projects to his constituency, 49 of which were completed before leaving office.

Bamidele said that he remained the only aspirant with the cognate experience spanning the three arms of government.

He said that he had the experience as a lawyer which placed him as a member of the judiciary and a lawmaker that qualified him as a member of the legislature.

He added that he served as a commissioner that made him a member of the executive arm of government.

He said that he had developed a manifesto that when implemented would transform all sectors of the state in line with international best practice.

He promised to form an all-inclusive government that would incorporate politicians, professionals, youths, artisans, labour leaders, students and the elderly.

Ekiti needs somebody that has a robust experience to take Ekiti to the next level. I have served meritoriously in the three arms of government.

“I want to appeal to our delegates to give me their votes at the primary. I want to say that our delegates will benefit more from me.

“Ours will not be a government that will forget those who assist us to get to power,” he said
