The mercurial political Lioness was elected Senator to represent Lagos West Senatorial District. With this great achievement, Dr. Adebule has emerged a record breaker by becoming the first woman after serving as Lagos deputy governor heading to the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.

Dr. Adebule won the 2023 Lagos West senatorial election, polling 361,296 votes to defeat her main challenger of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Segun Adewale, who scored 248,653 votes.
