REAL REASONS DAVID LYON IS POISED FOR BAYELSA STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION VICTORY

The results of Bayelsa State Governorship election is currently being collated at various electoral wards and Independent National Electoral Commission-INEC designated Centers but feelers from www.towncrier.ng reporters across Bayelsa state had it that David Lyon is cruising home with victory. First indication is the grass root support coming for the gentle man David Lyon as the mother of former President of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has endorsed All Progressives Congress-APC governorship candidate and from every comments the ex-President of Nigeria from Otueke in Ogbia Local Government Area surreptitiously in tandem for the emergence of David Lyon as Bayelsa State governor irrespective of the fact that he belongs to Peoples Democratic Party-PDP.  

Again the unannounced internal war of confidence going on between the ex-President of Nigeria and incumbent Governor of Bayelsa state  Honourable Seriake Henry Dickson whose choice of PDP’s governorship flag bearer is the cause of the cold war. To drive home the strength of his anger President Goodluck Jonathan tacitly withdrew from attending the Mega Governorship rally organized by Seriake Dickson for Senator Douye Diri.

From every indication it is another election that has money as a major factor as ex-Governor Timipre Sylva and current Minister of state for Petroleum is marching on with enough support from the Presidency to give APC the final push into the heart of crude Oil producing state like Bayelsa state. While use of state power is another factor to count in favour of APC as all the major creeks and Islands that had been the election rigging zones will be condoned by Navy and special Marine Forces who will not give miscreants the space to rig the election in favour of PDP. Should the election had involved former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Ndutimi Alaibe in PDP against David Lyon the result would have been in favour of PDP because of the political weight of Timi Alaibe in Bayelsa State political landscape.
