Oluwo of Iwo Congratulates Adeleke, Affirms Iwo Gov Ambition

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has congratulated the governor-elect of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke on his electoral victory.

Before Saturday’s governorship election, the monarch publicly endorsed the second term bid of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and stated his desire that an indigene of Iwo land would succeed Oyetola.

In a statement on his Instagram page on Friday, Oluwo congratulated Adeleke saying, “I congratulate the Osun State Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the keenly contested poll. He has demonstrated an uncommon courage, tenacity to have survived many hurdles. His life is a lesson for many aspiring youths. There is always reward for hard work.

“I look forward to having an Iwo man as the Osun State Governor if God permits! I pray for divine wisdom, courage and understanding for Senator Ademola Adeleke to effectively manage Osun State affairs.”
