Obaseki dump APC, Purchases PDP’s Nomination Form As Tinubu Insist On Direct Primaries?

The grand battle is finally drawn as the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has allegedly purchased the PDP’s governorship nomination form after he received a reprimand from the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday.

Obaseki made frantic efforts to appease Tinubu who he has always downgraded, the Jagaban of Nigerian politics turned Obaseki back and instructed him to go and prepare for a direct primary which was a test of popularity.

Walking out of the meeting Governor Obaseki in distrust immediately purchased the PDP governorship nomination form.

Obaseki’s new step would be met with stiff resistance in the PDP as other aspirants are already spoiling for war.
