Lagos Lawmaker, Olawale Dies In Jos

…Ex-Lawmakers Mourn

A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Mushin Constituency 02, Hon Sobur Olayiwola Olawale has slumped and died in Jos, Plateau State.

The lawmaker, popularly known as Omititi, was in Jos where he attended the APC’s presidential campaign flag-off attended by President Muhammadu Buhari and other chieftains of the party.

The House of Assembly is yet to make official confirmation but some former lawmakers of the House have reacted to the sad development.

In his reaction, a former lawmaker representing Epe Constituency 02 in the Assembly, Hon Segun Olulade, who was also in Jos, described the news as shocking and sad.

“Still in shock and sad.
“Omititi.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” Olulade said.

Another former lawmaker, Hon Ipoola Omisore said Omititi’s sudden death was sad and shocking.

“A sad day in Jos, Plateau State as Hon Olawale of Mushin Constituency 02 dropped dead. Its very shocking,” Omisore said.
