Labour Party Raises Concern Over Imposition of Candidates In Rivers

 

…Accuses PDP, Governor, Others

A chieftain of the labour party in Rivers State, Prince Favour Reuben has raised concern about what he term imposition and preferred candidates by Governor Siminalayi Fubara ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Area election in the state.

Prince Reuben in live radio programme monitored in Port Harcourt,accused the governor Fubara of anti- partism and selecting his preferred candidates through a clandestine way ahead of forthcoming election in the state.

He maintained that the action of the governor in the alledged direction was equivalent of what the defected 27 lawmakers did in the state,while calling for a punitive action aganist the Governor by his party.
