Jigawa State Gov. Badaru, received members of the PDP Kwankwasiyya faction

The Executive Governor of Jigawa state Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar MON, mni has received members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kwankwasiyya faction at the All Progressives Congress (APC) headquarters in Dutse the state capital.

The members of the Kwankwasiyya who came to the party headquarters in their numbers said they defected to the APC because of the leadership qualities exhibited by the Jigawa state governor since the beginning of his administration.

Shehu Garu who before now was the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Jigawa state said that their intention to leave the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress is necessary in order to move the state and the country forward.

Meanwhile, the Jigawa state Governor Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has inaugurated the Elected Executives of the All Progressives Congress APC.

The Governor called on the party members to work on maintaining the existing unity in the party to ease success in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
