Igo Aguma led APC in Rivers Mourns former Lawmaker, late HON. Martyns I. Mannah

Late former Lawmaker, HON. Martyns I. Mannah

BY IBRAHIM BAKARE

The factional Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Rivers state Rt. Hon. Igo Aguma on behalf of the APC in the state condoles with the entire Mannah family of Nobo Community in Igbu-Ehuda, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State over the death of their son Hon. Martyns I. Mannah.

In a statement signed by Livingston Wechie, Media Adviser to Igo Aguma recalled that the late Lawmaker served in the Rivers State 8th House of Assembly representing Ahoada East Constituency 1, from 2015 to 2019.

“His contributions to the development and strengthening of our legislative institution in Rivers state, the state at large and indeed the APC can not be erased.

“The APC Rivers family commiserates with his wife, children, his siblings and the people of Ahoada East Constituency 1 over this great loss.

“It is regrettable to note that he left us at a crucial moment when the party and the state needed him the most. This is more so because Hon. Martyns Manna, a loyal party man did not stay us till the end to achieve what we have collectively worked for as a party.

“We pray that God almighty will comfort his beloved family and grant his soul eternal rest.”

The former Lawmaker died of complications related to kidney disease.
