The close up on projecting the values of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 Presidential bid has reached all time feverish stage, one of the political pressure groups that has made this possible include Bola Ahmed Tinubu Supporters Vanguard-BATSV with headquarters at Federal capital Territory FCT-Abuja. One man who has championed this group’s activities is no other one but Ambassador Dr. Owotombi Dare who is popularly addressed as Global Chairman of BATSV as this group has wide global presence in all the 36 states plus FCT Abuja and in United Kingdom plus in the Americas North America to be specific.
However, one administrative style of the Global Chairman Dr. Owotombi Dare has been that of operating as a Sole administrator as he has never carried his executive members along in the manner of distributing responsibilities to his subordinates. A very good example was his outing at Port Harcourt on Saturday 14th of May, 2022 when he inaugurated Non-Indigenous Group of BATSV in Rivers state. He was unaware of the fact that many dignitaries who graced the occasion queried why they did not witness the presence of other national executive members of such a highly valued group that had done much for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The glaring modus operandi sole administrator style of leadership of Ambassador Dr. Owotombi Dare is now threatening the cohesive grip of this group which many have been envious of as many of the executive members who have been side-lined may any time from now pull out from the group and look for a more robust group to associate with and contribute more meaningfully for the success of their principal Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Primary Election of All Progressives Congress-APC.
With his sole administrator’s style, it behoves any sane person that the motive may not be unconnected with greed and avarice where all the financial transactions may not be made open to the executives and whatever comes to the group may also not be disclosed to all executive members but to himself as alleged.
It is therefore pertinent to conclude that BATSV is a private estate of the Global Chairman Ambassador Dr. Owotombi Dare and his not being able to change and carry everyone along with the mindset of distributing responsibilities may mar the success of the group towards carrying out more aggressive electioneering campaign in the eventuality that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerges winner of the APC Presidential Primary election in the next few days.
