Ahoada East State Constituency is currently in the eyes of the storm over the defection of Honourable Martins Manna representative of the constituency at Rivers State House of Assembly as he is being challenged over his uncomplimentary comments against Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezeznwo Wike.
The President of Wike Development Witnesses and Chairman of Ezu Empowerment Foundation Honourable Ezu Chibudhom Rizzy Hezekiah to come out en masse on Saturday 16th, June 2018 and cast their votes for Barrister Ben. Israel Eke as elected Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party-PDP while supporting the election of other 13-Wards Councilors of PDP.
www.towncrier.ng that the 2015 Ahoada East state Constituency candidate under All Progressive Grand Alliance-APGA Hon. Ezu Chibudhom Rizzy Hezekiah is not quite happy over spurious statements made by Honourable Martins Manna insulting the duly elected executive Governor of Rivers state Nyesom Ezenwo Wike asking him to respect the performing Governor of Rivers state. He stated that “Hon. Martins manna representation of our people at the State House of assembly has been characterized with deficiencies as he rightly admitted that he is a novice to the legislative works”. The President of Wike Development Witnesses and chairman of Ezu Empowerment Foundation is now urging youth from Ahoada East State Constituency to go and obtain their Permanent Voters cards-PVC as an instrument to supporting Mr. Projects Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and return him back as governor in 2019 general elections for good governance in Rivers state.
On the issue of Honourable Martins Manna calling Governor Wike a dictator, Honourable Ezu Rizzy Hezekiah debunked that saying that Governor is not a dictator but Honourable Martins manna has been unable to delivder on his campaign promises. This situation it is alleged the people of Ahoada East has lost confidence on Honourable Martins Manna a situation that has brought embarrassment to his Ahoada east State Constituency.
But the Rivers State House of Assembly Ahoada East representative Honourable Martins Manna had said that there is no presence of development projects in Ahoada East a situation that formed his decision to defect to All Progressive Congress-APC.
