GOVERNOR SERIAKE DICKSON’S 2020 EXIT PLAN

While the major opposition political party in Bayelsa state All Progressives Congress-APC were busy planning how to occupy CREEK HAVEN Bayelsa state seat of political power, the incumbent governor was scheming on how he will return back to the national Assembly this time around as Senator representing Bayelsa state West. First he decided to ask his former Parliamentary Aide, and former Commissioner in his executive cabinet Senator Lawrence Ewrujakpor to be made Deputy Governorship candidate which if the duo succeed in the polls of Saturday, 16th Of November, 2019 it will be a run-over for by election for a candidate to replace Lawrence Ewrujakpor. This is the initial short time planning strategy of Governor Seriake Dickson come February 2020 when he will take his exit from office after 8-years of service to his Ijaw people.

Political game is a serious business which every citizen seems to be a participant at least as a voter when not contesting for any electoral position. First, Governor Seriake Dickson succeeded in making Lawrence Ewrujapor an Urhobo man to occupy Bayelsa state West Senatorial seat in February 23rd, 2019 against serious protest from core Ijaw elders of his party but he remained adamant as he won’t always  do when at the heat of a political battle.
