EFFCC Squeezes  NDDC Account Director Over N25bn Fraud

The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has penultimate week Squeezed the Director, Finance Account of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), ENO Ubi Otu, for interrogation over a case of alleged diversion of N25 billion tax remittances.

The suspect according to inside sources who arrived the Commission’s office in the early hour penultimate-week, was still being see interrogated on the issue.

Our source revealed to this publication that the arrest was part of a larger investigation of the Forensic audit report of the NDDC.

But, the Spokesman of the Commission Wilson Uwujaren, couldn’t be reached for reaction on many issues in the commission.

Recalled that the president Muhammadu Buhari led administration on the controversy period decided to called for an audit of the commission’s finances.

But since the forensic audit time, the commission has been smeared with one controversy and crises here and there.
