A member of the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon. Prince Nyeche, representing Ikwere State Constituency has lost his Wife to death, Mrs Jane Nyeche.
The circumstances leading to her demise is not known.
Our Correspondent reports that the death of the wife of the Lawmaker has further thrown the rest 31 members of the Rivers Assembly into deep mourning as the news of her demise came barely 72 hours after the death of a colleague, Dinebari Loolo, a Lawyer, and member representing Khana State Constituency Two, who died on Monday.
Mrs Jane Nyeche, until her death, was the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Dr. Samuel Nwanosike, Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Council area.
In a condolence message to the husband and family of Nyeche, the Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area Nwanosike, on behalf of his family and the people of Ikwerre LGA, expressed sadness over the untimely death of Mrs. Jane Nyeche, wife of Hon. Prince Lemchi Nyeche.
Nwanosike described the death of his SSA as very devastating and a great loss to Ikwerre LGA and to her family.
He urged the husband of the deceased, Hon. Nyeche, who served as Secretary of Ikwerre Local Government Council under his administration and currently represents Ikwerre Constituency at the Rivers State House of Assembly, to take solace in the Lord. While he prayed for the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Ikwerre Council Chairman noted that the hearts of the good people of the LGA were with Hon. Nyeche and his family and that the Council would do everything humanly possible to accord the deceased a befitting burial.
Meanwhile, sympathizers have been paying condolence visits to the Nyeche family. One of the early callers include: Obinna Anyanwu, Chairman of Etche local government Council, among others.
