Dawari George congratulates Okocha, Burna Boy, 11 other Rivers’ citizens on national honours

The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, in Rivers State, Dr. Dawari Ibietela George, has congratulated 13 Rivers’ citizens on their listing as awardees of various National Honours by President Muhammadu Buhari. 

The AA governorship candidate, Dr. Dawari George, in a statement he personally signed on Sunday, said by their nominations, they had brought honour to the state.

Dawari George, who said he was proud of the nominees, which include billionaire oil and gas merchant, Dr. Tein T. S. Jack-Rich, and whiz-kid banker and Boardroom guru, Mr. Herbert Wigwe, who each would be honoured with Commander of the Order of the Niger, and legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, O. C. J. Okocha, Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR), expressed delight at the nominations. 

Others for which he expressed joy on their nominations are Chief Ferdinand Alabraba and Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji NPoM, shortlisted to receive the honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON); Amb. Kio Amieyeofori, and Damimi E. Ogulu (Burna Boy), Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).

In the statement he captioned “PROUDLY RIVERS”, Dawari George described them as “shinning lights” and noted that “their recognitions depict the clear testament that Rivers sons and daughters can aspire for the best places with a dint of hardwork.” 

He said the national recognition must serve as the ideal type for all Rivers Youths who must draw personal inspiration and positive stimulation to strive for the top in their chosen careers.”

While praying God to bless Rivers State, Dr. Dawari George thanked President Buhari for the honour on those Rivers sons.

I, Dr. Dawari Ibietela George, Governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) heartily felicitates with thirteen Rivers sons whose nominations for conferment with the prestigious National Honours by His Excellency, Mohammadu Buhari GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have brought honour to our dear State. 

The awardees including Dr. Tein T. S. Jack-Rich and Mr. Herbert Wigwe, Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), O. C. J. Okocha, Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR), Chief Ferdinand Alabraba and Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji NPoM, Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), Amb. Kio Amieyeofori, and Damimi E.
