Rivers: Crisis Looms In Iwguruta Community As Wike Loyalists Open New Stay For Conflict

The cool atmosphere that usually characterised Igwuruta Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State, during festive period may turned a different ballgame as some sons from the area in Governor Nyesom Wike  government’s try to outwit one another over proposed internal road project in the community.

Towncrier, have learnt, that the works commissioner, Eloka Tasie, and Reps member, Boniface Emerengwa, are now spoil for war if immediate intervention is not reached between the duo.

The Towncrier, also gathered that the centre of the cold war is predicated of the proposed construction of an internal road within the community, hence the duo, works commissioner and the Reps member are struggling to impressed their community over who is very close to the incumbent governor and who is highly connected as well.

The atmosphere of Igwuruta community in Ikwerre Local Government Area is currently tensed and may snowball into crisis if not nipped in the bud.

We further learnt that the governor has penciled down the construction of the internal road to commence any moment this year.

Recall that Governor NYESOM WIKE has during a visit to the LGA last year announced the award of construction of Igwuruta internal roads project.
