Council Staff Set To Battle Emolga Council Boss

…As Lloyd Commissions Two ATM Machines As Achievement

Workers under the auspices of Nigeria Local Government Employee ( Nulge), are about to set out machinery on ground to battle with the Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Hon. Chidi Lloyd for sacking over two hundred workers in the council.

The union in an unanimous decision vowed that they would resist any attempt or attempted attempt to lay out their members by the council boss.

To this end, the council workers had  given the chairman a 7 days ultimatum to reinstate all the workers sacked or face industrial action against such moves.

Meanwhile, the Emolga boss is now facing strong criticism for commissioning two ATM machines built at the council Headquarters by Titan Bank on 10th Dec, 2021.

Hon. Chidi Lloyd, is the first council chairman to have exhibited the commissioning of  an ATM machines as achievement.

Even as council workers threatened showdown with his administration for laying off over two hundred staff at a time they say is more critical in the country.
