Chief Allwell Onyesoh Charges Rivers People To Embrace Freedom

BY DOM ZIMEGAPI

The popular Rivers state elder statesman and All Progressive Congress APC Chieftain Chief Allwell Onyesoh has called on Rivers state People to embrace Freedom as the 2019 Governorship election comes 13-months ahead from now. He said this on Wednesday 25th 2018 at the Opening of Senator Magnus Ngei Abe’s Governorship Campaign liaison Office no 21/23 Evo Road GRA Phase 2 Port Harcourt.

At that forum he said “Democracy is all about Freedom, freedom of speech, freedom to be right , freedom to be wrong , freedom to do anything that is allowed by the law …no be so? …Na so! And it is so obvious that in Rivers state what we lacked most is freedom…what have we lacked most? Well thank God that Magnus is coming. Magnus has given us the freedom to express ourselves so far, and we know that he will continue to do that and to confirm that he has opened an office for everybody that believes in freedom. And that office is what…? It is the FREEDOM HOUSE.

We are going to take over government using this office as a stepping stone. This is just the beginning. They started with giving us (Freedom) a few movements in Benin a couple of hours ago.  Some people wanted to stop us from being free and we led other freedom fighters that went there and fought very brilliant war and today we are almost free at the Federal level. And that freedom is coming from up and by next month state Congress it will come over here in Rivers state. But today we are here to launch the symbol of that freedom THE FREEDOM HOUSE. And I want to thank Magnus Abe because we are not going to rest until we take over the governor’s office. ‘Work don start ooo’ from here we have to go home and do the proper thing and we must take the message that ‘our Governor is Magnus Abe  to the units and the Congress is coming next week  and we are expected to elect our leaders at that level …no be so?…na so! Make una no gree oo ! I thank you all for coming.  God Bless You.”

The official opening of the FREEDOM HOUSE attracted a lot of party supporters and other dignitaries including the chairman of the occasion former Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives Abuja Rt. Honourable Chibudom Nwauche. Others who were present at the launching proper have Honourable Chief Allwell ONYESOH, Elder Chidi Wihioka member Federal House of Representatives Ikwerre/Emohua , Honourable Maurice Poronen, Senator Wilson Ake, Chiel Mene Derek Director of Finance and Administration Niger Delta Development Commission-NDDC, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Commissioner at National Population Commission-NPC, Mr Isobo Jack former Chairman Rivers state Environmental Sanitation Authority and Special Adviser to the Governor on Waste Management and former Commissioner for Urban development, Dr. Noble Abe elder brother to Senator Magnus Abe and Barrister Wogu Boms who is the Manager of freedom House.
