Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has warned members of the public to beware of Scammers and impostors who have opened several
Facebook and social media accounts (twitter,Instagram etc) bearing his name and photographs, and claiming same to be his official handles.
In a press statement signed by Governor Fubara’s Senior Special Adiviser, Media, Boniface Onyedi, said:”Sequel to such unauthorised infiltrations, we bring to the notice of the general public that the only approved and authorised official social media handles of the Governor is: Sir Siminalayi Fubara on Facebook, @SimFubaraKSC on twitter and @simfubaraksc on Instagram.
“We hope this will put an end to such several unauthorised and fake social media accounts used to send messages that did not emanate from the governor.
Hence, we implore Rivers people and the general public to disregard any of those social media handles operated by impostors”.
