Peter Obi of Labour Party wins in Oyigbo, Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni, Etche LGAs
Bola Tinubu won in Asari Toru, Khana LGAs

Dr. Abiye Sekibo, the Director General of Atiku Abubakar/Okowa Campaign Council has delivered his Okrika local government area scoring 8,476 out of Accredited Voters 16,832
Also, Senator Thompson George Sekibo representing Rivers East Senatorial District who also a member of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Council also delivered his nearby Ogu-Bolo local government areas to PDP Presidential Candidate with 3,178 of accredited Voters 7,478.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party came second scoring 4,018, while Bola Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of APC scored 2,729.
It is significant to note that Sekibo, a former Secretary to State Government,SSG and former Transportation Minister has been at loggerhead with Governor Nyesom Wike over their disagreement on choice of Atiku Presidential Candidate. While Wike vowed not to support Atiku Abubakar for his refusal to sort out alleged imbalance in the choice of Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the party also from North like Atiku Abubakar.
However, Peter Obi won with 21,833, Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni local area of Felix Obua, immediate past State PDP Chairman and D-G Campaign Council of Siminalayi Fubara,the Governorship candidate.
Wike, the leader of the G-5 Governors insisted that for equity, fairness and justice the national Chairman should be from the South.
