APGA Gubernatorial Candidate Ugo Beke To Take Rivers by Storm

In no distance time, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Prince Ugo Beke will take Rivers State by storm as he plans to make a grand breaking campaign ahead of 2023 general election.

Prince Ugo Beke, is a front line politician born into the family of His Royal Highness, Francis Osimini Beke, a foremost Niger-Delta industrialist and landed gentry; who was a major influential traditional ruler and philanthropist in Rivers and across the nation.

He hailed from Elibrada- in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, and is ready to wrest power with other political parties come 2023 election.

The APGA governorship contender is also a son in the famous Beke Dynasty; a very powerful and influential Niger Delta family with over 30 siblings who are powerful politicians, highly successful businessmen and women as well as distinguished professionals in various fields of their endeavours.

He is a highly grounded politician that is connected home and abroad and now ready to serve his father land after several years of attempts to govern  the state.

Prince Beke, holds a  degree in Political Science, Law and Economics (Combined Honors), by dint of hardwork couple with his banking training  as a qualified Political Economist, is ready to bring his wealth of experiences to change the narrative associated with bad leadership.

The Ikwerre Prince, was in 1991 a Member of the Committee on Value Added Tax headed by globally acclaimed economist, the late Professor Sam Aluko. He is also a key player In the Oil and Gas sector, and was instrumental to fostering mutual relationships with the oil and gas sector and the Nigerian Banks on issues bothering oil pollution.

Beke is not new when it comes to political  engagement and development. He was Chairman of several youth bodies in Rivers State in the 90’s before becoming the Chairman of the Rivers New Frontiers in 1993, Chairman, Niger Delta Emancipation and Empowerment Forum, between 1994-1999; Chairman South-South Voice in 1999 and he was the Founder&Elder of the River/ Bayelsa Professionals Forum which he created in 1999.

As a seasoned and active political player, during his days as a Students’ Union leader in Bukingham University in  the 80s.

Also, in the aborted Third Republic, Prince Ugo Beke was a Member of the defunct National Republic Convention (NRC) and contested for the National Publicity Secretary of the party in 1992.

He was also a founding member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at inception, particularly in 1999 before he left the party in 2014 to pitch tent with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, where he joined others to mobilize members, and supported with logistics and information.

A man of integrity and high moral standard whose commitment to honesty, truth and justice towers above average. His watchword could be summarized in his firm commitment to equity. The APGA candidate believes that all men were born equal and should be accorded equal treatment regardless of their social status.
