APC will win Rivers, PDP Will Crash Very Soon – Ojukaye Amachree, APC Governorship Aspirant

*Dumping of one party for another is normal in election period.

Daniel Efe/Port Harcourt.

Former All Progressive Congress APC, Governorship Aspirant in Rivers State, Hon Ojukaye Flag Amachree, says there will be a major political alignment from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP into the APC that will shake the state.

Amachree, who disclosed this in a statement in Khana Local Government Area over the weekend, said a lot of politicians are still in the PDP due to the crumbs they get from the Governor.

He stated that the PDP in the state will crash in no time, and that the noticeable crack and crisis in the party are pointers to the end of the party.

The former two-tenure Chairman of Asari-Toru local government Council area urged members of the APC not to worry about those resigning or leaving the APC to other political parties, as those movements are normal in every political season.

He described such movements as minor early political alignment that has no electoral consequences on the chances of the APC to win the governorship of the state.

Hon. Amachree admonished the Ogonis not to cast their votes on ethnic considerations or for a political party that do not have the required electoral spread or capacity to win election, as doing so will anount to waste of votes.

He assured that APC will soon begin the harvesting of major actors into its fold and will win the next election and provide good governance for Rivers people.

Recall could be made that just recently, there have been many resignations of notable chieftains of APC to other political parties where they feel they could pursue their various political ambitions.
