2023: Wike Consults PDP NWC; Says he is very sure of winning PDP ticket

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike today visited the National Headquarters of the PDP on a consultation visit to the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

Governor Wike who spoke confidently during the visit said he was very sure of winning the PDP ticket in a free and fair contest. He said he had been a consistent member of the PDP since 1998 and in the unlikely event of him not being the PDP’s candidate he would fully support whoever emerges.

He went on to explain that the pardon granted to convicted politicians by the APC Government clears any ambiguity on the falsehood of the APC’s anti-corruption claim as they were obviously released to help the APC in the 2023 elections.
