2023: NDA Canvasses Support For Asiwaju Tinubu in Rivers State

A sub political group canvassing support for the election of former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA), has said there is no going back by them for the election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential flag-bearer from emerging Nigeria president come 2023.

The group in his meeting in Port Harcourt led by its coordinator Goke Raheem, told reporters that despite contrary opinions and grounds, the former Lagos state governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has what it takes to turn the fortune of our nation, adding that what the erstwhile governor did in Lagos shows that he is the right man for the job come 2023.

Raheem explained that Tinubu reaches out across the country and touches lives of many Nigerians shows that he is not a tribal person, adding that age has nothing to do with a man that knows what to do at every given point in time.

Asked about his take on the Muslim/Muslim ticket?  the NDA coordinator said that he is very surprised that at this point of our development people are still talking about religion, stressing that in fairness to Nigerians the APC presidential flag-bearer is married to a Christian and that they have been married for the past 40 years and sees nothing wrong in the Muslim/ Muslim ticket.

He described Tinubu as a man that has nothing evil against other religious bodies, stressing that the unfortunate incident of Christian attack at Owo, Ogun State, his principal was one of the Nigerians that quickly responded to the unfortunate incident with a cash donation.

Mr. Raheem further stated that the issue of religion is just a creation by a few politicians who are using it for their selfish interest, maintaining that as a matter of fact Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu doesn’t talk about religion but believes in the existence of the almighty God.

Also speaking, another leader of the group Engr. Kayode Aremu said the body is strictly for the election of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that once the  guidelines are out, it will tell enough about what Asiwaju stands for.

He appealed to all APC members not to be distracted but to see the candidature of their principal as a project for all and for the benefits of all when victory is achieved.
