Oil thievery: Pro-Buhari group warns any harm on Kyari will be disastrous

The Buhari Solidarity League(BSL) has warned that there would be dire consequences for Nigerian oil thieves should any harm happens to the GCEO of NNPCL, Malam Mele Kyari.

Rising from an emergency meeting in Kaduna, the Northern Chapter Chairman, Sirajo Musa in the communique issued to newsmen said the NNPC boss is “one of the most honest and illustrious sons of the North demonstrating management competence in a transparent manner”.

The group said “the NNPCL GCEO is first of all our son, before being highly-respected CEO of the largest oil company on the African continent and we are proud to say it”.

The communique then noted: “Kyari is as much a pride for Nigeria as he is to the home-base of Northern Nigeria and we are confident he would leave behind a lasting legacy of standardization of the NNPCL and building good relationship with the company’s partners wherever they are in the world. He is, to us as Northerners, the new face of competence in the contemporary history of this nation’s oil and gas sector.

“Any attempt by any oil thief to inflict harm on him, as local and international media have reported on such possibility few days ago, will be resisted by all Nigerians of good conscience and the good people of the North”, the group threatened.
