By Kole Jinadu

The last has not been heard of the Belema Oil Christmas gift to Journalists in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

Town Crier’s snoop in the area revealed that about fifty bags of rice and a cow allotted the apex Union of journalists in the state may have allegedly infringed upon the intelligence of some members who felt left out in the sharing.

Some members of the Union allegedly took offense that the leadership of the Union may have taken more bags of rice and meat than should have been the equitable distribution of same to members. Others went home happy with their cargo.

Much as they have been ire in the sharing of the Christmas gifts, Belema Oil demonstrated that it was father Christmas per excellence when it also distributed bags of rice to media houses in Port Harcourt. But the gesture turned to Window’s gift as some media houses turned down the present leaving the messenger owning the rejected gift.

One national newspaper based in Abuja told it’s Port Harcourt based Correspondent to return the gift as it has no need for the rice.
