Armed Robbers Attacked Journalist In Rivers made away With Union Bus & PROPERTY


The chairman of Correspondents’ Chapel of Nigerian Union of Journalists Rivers State Council, Mr. Amaechi Okonkwo was attacked by armed Robbers who stormed his Port Harcourt home inside Eneka Community by 3 am on early morning of Friday, 11th of March, 2022. The armed bandits also attacked several households and made away With properties including the 14- seater Bus belonging to Correspondents’ Chapel NUJ Rivers State.


The secretary of Nigerian Union of Journalists Rivers State Council Mr. Ike Wigodo in a Press statement alerted members of the public to report to the nearest Police Station if they come across the missing Union Bus at any location for appropriate action.


The armed robbers it was reported took all the belongings of Amaechi Okonkwo and his family. Sometimes ago, some armed robbers made away With Laptop and telephone handset belonging to Amaechi Okonkwo. There’s sad moment in the office of the Correspondents’ Chapel NUJ with the missing Union Bus worth several millions of Naira.
