WHEN 27-YEARS OLD DOROTHY UBOCHI WAS BURIED IN GLORY AT UMUNAHU OWERRI

The sleepy town of Umuezenwere Ndiokwu Umunahu Uratta in Owerri North Local Government Area of imo state was in shock as the remains of Miss Dorothy Chizomam a very beautiful 27-years old young lady was brought home for burial on Wednesday 22^nd of June,2022. She died in her sleep on 11^th of June,2022 while at her Federal Polytechnics Nekede Owerri. She was a Higher National Diploma HND student who recently relocated to the school after completing her Ordinary National Diploma-OND at Port Harcourt.

In her lifetime, Miss Dorothy Chizomam Ubochi was industrious doing whatever that genuinely provided income to her as she sold clothes and household items as an undergraduate. Being the last born of her family provided an opportunity that she utilized very well as a peace maker where she was known to have reconciled many in her family and outside circle in finding everlasting peace that they needed for development and co-existence.

At the Saint John’s Catholic Church Parish Umunahu Uratta in Owerri North LGA, the clergy was sharp in identifying the good deed of late Miss Dorothy Ubochi while she was alive as he reprimanded those living to

see death as a necessary end that comes unannounced.

At the grace side which was at the newly constructed storey building by the river bank of Okutankwu River her remains was buried amidst wailing and crying by her family members and close friends who came from far and near to pay their last respect to the deceased including Mr. Ibrahim Bakare the publisher and Editor-In-Chief of Town Crier Newspaper. In his tribute Mr. Ibrahim said “She was kind, respectful, humble, caring, beautiful in and out and very honest. She engaged in buying and selling clothes while in school.”

Several mourners who besieged the graveside were all in praise of the late Miss Dorothy Ubochi who they described as amiable and convivial in her daily activities with people that she came across.

She died barely 28 days to her 28^th birthday as she left her siblings and former banker father to mourn her passage.
