Pastor Simeon Ajibike Braimoh was buried on the 16th of December 2022 with a lot of pomp and pageantry at the Police children’s school, pipeline idimu. The renowned pastor of the RCCG was survived by Mrs Maria Ajoke Braimoh (The wife) and the children, Mrs Dupe Afolayan, Mrs Afolakemi Ojudu, Mrs Funmi Kuyinu, Mr Jide Braimoh, Mr Segun Braimoh, Mrs Bola Ojetunde, Mr Gbemi Braimoh and Mr Emmanuel Braimoh and numerous grandchildren.
Baba was born in Ilpetu ljesha on October 1st 1946 to Chief Alepa and Mrs. Ayoola Braimoh of Islamic and traditional background.
He attended Ansar-ud-deen School for his primary education in 1951 1955. After his elementary education, he lost his father due to old age and him being the last born of the family.
He moved in with his elder brother who was a police officer in Lagos to further his education in 1958, but later moved to his another elder brother who established a printing press to learn the job. He did well while being an apprentice and graduated on October 1st 1970.
He worked briefly with a printing press and established his own company named SAICO ENTERPRISES in 1973 but later registered as SAlCO NIG. LTD.
He worked hard and prospered in his business and trained many people who are now professional printers now.
He got married to Mrs. Maria Braimoh in August 1978 and the marriage is blessed with children and grandchildren.
In his youth days he was introduced to Christ and till his passing he was fervent on the service of God at any given opportunity. He was loving, caring. devoted, prayerful and hard working which he installed in his children and anyone he came across.
He was a father to not only his children but to all and sundry and never tired of being a father. He was a man after God’s heart and a general in God’s army while he was a member of Power Pentecostal Church in which the Ejigbo branch of the church which started in his house before it got to its permanent site. He later joined Redeemed Christian Church of God in 2002, served God evangelism department and was the HOD, later as the Elder Chairman of the Parish and of the region
Daddy was funny, jovial and very inspiration. He will be dearly missed, but the joy and assurance of Seeing him on the resurrection morning compensates our temporary sorrow at his departure.
