RIVERS STATE FEDERAL SPECIAL ANTI-ROBBERY SQUAD-FSARS BOSS –AKIN FAKOREDE PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
There is exchange of pleasantries and slapping of hands among friends and well-wishers of the boss of Rivers State Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad-FSARS Akin Fakorede who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police –ACP after serving with as Chief Superintendent of Police-CSP at Rivers state where he has been heading FSARS. The hard working police officer ACP Akin Fakorede is a man who since he was first posted to Rivers state has brought down the rate of crime and criminality in the state. His style of putting the right personnel and material at troubled spots in Rivers state has contributed a lot to lowering the number of casualties both among the civilian populace and officers on duty.
The highly educated Law graduate who attended Nigerian Advance Legal Education institute popularly called Nigerian Law School Bwari Abuja coming out with Barrister-At-Law certificate has been a man known for his no-none sense tolerance of crime and criminality while on his duty-post.
The native of Omuo-Ekiti in Ekiti state ACP Akin Fakorede is a well rounded Military personnel having first attended Nigerian Military School where he horned his skill in keeping watch and supervising the maintenance of Law and Order in the society. His promotion is a reward to hard work and diligence to duty having led successful operations with other sister security cum intelligence Agencies that brought about the elimination of Cult groups and gangsters who before his arrival to Rivers state threatened maintenance of peace and Order including investment in Rivers state such as Don Waney and his co-travelers in the cults’ war that had decimated the civil populations at the 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers state.
