Covid-19: Two companies donate Preventive kits, Palliatives to Rivers State Govt.

Government expresses gratitude

The Government of Rivers States has expressed gratitude to organizations supporting her efforts in preventing the dreaded Corona Virus and its crushing effect in the State.

While receiving preventive kits and palliatives from the Niger Delta Petroleum Resources Ltd and the International Breweries Plc in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, 22 April, 2020, Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo, said, the preventive kits and palliative contributions would go a long way in combating the COVID-19 effects in the State.

He assured the organizations of Governor Nyesom Wikes’ determination to keep Rivers COVID-19 free and return the State to normalcy.

He guaranteed them of using the kits judiciously to the benefit of the masses.

The Managing Director of Niger Delta Petroleum Resources Ltd, Dr Layi Fatona said Parameter monitors, infra red body temperature guns, hand sanitizers, face masks and oxygen concentrator are being given.

On the other hand, the Managing Director of International Breweries, Mr Hugo Dias Rochas presented 500 cartons of malt drinks and cartoons of hand sanitizers.
