Doctors Are Easily Accessible In Nigeria Than In Other Countries -Reno Omokri

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s former aide, Reno Omokri, has stated that doctors are more easily accessible in Nigeria than in other countries.

He said this via his Twitter handle on Sunday.

Omokri went on to say that Nigeria possesses some of the best healthcare professionals on the earth but that affordability seems to be a major challenge in the country’s health sector.

He wrote, “The challenge Nigeria has is affordability of healthcare, not access to healthcare. Our doctors are VERY accessible, compared to other nations. Healthcare is expensive. Just as Nigerians want power without paying bills, we also want healthcare without paying for it!

“Due to ignorance, many Nigerians de-market Nigeria’s healthcare. Nigeria has one of the best healthcare professionals on earth. Our problem in Nigeria is not access to healthcare. In fact, it is easier to access a doctor in Nigeria than it is in the UK or the US!”
