Covid-19: OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Distributes Food and Money to Less Privileged
As the threat of coronavirus disease looms over the continent, The spread of the COVID-19 is prompting food insecurity fears in Nigeria, with Nigerians already experiencing rising prices and panic-buying. To curb the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has enforced lockdowns and restricted gathering which has already fundamentally changed people’s lives not just with regards to public services but in terms of the economy, welfare of the people and much more.
For seven years Omega power Ministries has successfully run a free restaurant where quality food is given out for free to underprivileged people, religion and Christian denomination not withstanding. The free Restaurant gives succour to many less privileged people who walk long distances to eat at the free restaurant.
Apostle Chibuzor who is a man with a heart of gold knew that the closure of the free restaurant would be tantamount to taking away hope from the have-nots so he modernized the food distribution process to suit the needs of the people and also correspond with the directives of the government.
Under a well orchestrated plan led by Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, Apostle Chibuzor distributed free food and good sums of money to hungry and underprivileged people.
The free Restaurant would remain open but people won’t be allowed to sit on the tables and chairs as usual. Social distancing would be maintained as takeaway packs containing food are distributed.
