ACE JUJU ARTISTE, SHINA PETER’S SON, CLARENSE IN POLICE CUSTODY FOR MURDER

The Lagos State police have arrested son of legendary juju artiste, Sir Shina Peters, Clarense. The young music video director who remains one of the most sought after producers and directors of music videos in Nigeria was arrested in connection with the death of a dancer and video vixen, Love Divine who was popularly known as Picture Kodak.

The late dancer was alleged to have died of electrocution while charging her phone at Peters’ house on April 30.

However, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, said the Clarence was detained and being interrogated at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department SCIID, Panti, Yaba.

According to Elkana: “Peters is in our custody answering some questions. We are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of the dancer. It is a full-fledged investigation.

“We are probably looking at murder. We are not concluding at this stage. If she died of electrocution according to reports, it is left for us to find out. Was she actually electrocuted and what really went wrong? Autopsy will show. Clarence who took his artistic flare after both of his parents, the Afro Juju creator and Nollywood legendary actress, Clarion Chukwurah has handled the video direction and production of Nigeria’s top hip hop artistes like Davido, Whizkid, Kizz Daniel, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Grammy nominee Burna Boy, Falz, Dekunle Gold and wife Sino alongside other successful artistes.
He has also won several awards for his immense artistry.
