According to Dike: “They had prepared all belongings ready to return to school the next morning of Friday, January 6, only for them to remember that they had no kerosene for cooking. She went to the first shop with her younger Sister where they were told that Kerosene was unavailable. They were directed to another shop. She asked the Sister to wait for her to rush across to buy the kerosene. That was the last time we saw or heard from her. Her phone has been switched off. We’ve been so devastated.”
