UNIPORT disclaims two murdered male victims as not students, but confirms Late Joy Favour Adoki as undergraduate of faculty of Management Science

The Late Nelson Nwafor and Late Fortune Obemba are not Students of UNIPORT—UNIPORT Management

UNIPORT Management identifies the Late Joy Favour Adoki as the only bonafide student of Management Sciences.

The authorities University of Port Harcourt have officially disclaimed the late Nelson Nwafor and late Fortune Obemba, two of the male Victims out of three who were Kidnapped and gruesomely murdered and dumped at Eteo forest in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State as not bonafide students of the institution.

The latest report quoting the Dr Williams Wodi, the Spokesman for UNIPORT who made this clarification said there were no records of the male victims as undergraduates of School, however, identified the only female among them as the Late Joy Favour Adoki, as a student of Management Science in the institution but living off campus apartment in Alakahia Community in Obio-Akpor local government area.

He said “Only the girl (Joy Favour Adoki) is a student of UNIPORT, the other two are not. The girl is of faculty of Management Science. She resides off-campus at Alakahia,” Wodi.

He pointed out the female that the victim, is a student of UNIPORT, though off campus but was expected to have been with her parents after the closure of the University since March over Covid-19.

Friday Akpan, one of his leaders of Kidnap and cult gang had that on Friday May 1, 2020, taken the Anti-kidnapping unit of State Police Command led a team of Journalist to Eteo forest at Eleme Local Government Area, where he identified the decomposing bodies of Nelson Nwafor, Fortune Obemba, and Joy Adoki.


According to the Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Command the victims were abducted on the APRIL 7,2020, had identified them as UNIPORT undergraduate.
