Eric Olusesan/Port Harcourt
Two persons have been reported dead and some residents of Elibrada community in Emohua local government area are said to have fled their homes as results of Cult clash between the Degbam and Iceland cult groups.
It was gathered the members of the Degbam Cult group allegedly invaded the community in the early hours of yesterday, Thursday, April 27, in search of the leader of Iceland cult group, Wodi Onuigwe, popularly called Wodi said to be the prime suspect and his gang who have been terrorizing Emohua local area section of the East-West road.
However, Eyewitnesses said members of the Emohua Vigilante Services, EMOVIS, have managed to restore relative peace in the area as fear has gripped residents.
Recall that the Chairman of Council area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd had always complained that criminalities in most of the communities are perpetrated by illegal oil bunkering thieves who form themselves into different Cult rings who continually fight for territorial controls.
