* As Greenland, Iceland Battle In Ahoada East, Others Escape With Bullet Wounds

Three suspected Cultists were gunned down during an exchange of gunfire with Operatives of Ahoada Police Division on Sunday at about 5pm in Udebu community, Ahoada East local government area of Rivers State.
It was learnt from Police sources that the Operatives of Ahoada Police Division got credible information on Sunday that there was going to be supremacy battle between Iceland and Greenland cult groups at Udebu community, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State and mobilized to the area.
Community sources told our reporter that members of the cult groups had mobilized to engage in a supremacy battle at the community when they were intercepted by the Police.
Our source further disclosed that one Mr Bright and two other suspected cultists were shot dead by the Police in exchange of gun fire with the hoodlums.
A resident of the community disclosed to our Correspondent that a ‘General’ of one of the groups, Ikechukwu Uturu, aka “Old School”, and other cultists escaped with bullet wounds.
We gathered that one locally fabricated G-3 rifle, a locally fabricated pistol which uses AK 47 ammunition, charms and other dangerous weapons were recovered from the hoodlums by the Police.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command, SP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed that three suspected cultists were shot dead by the Police in Udebu in exchange of gunfire but did not give further details.
She however promised to release a comprehensive report on the incident later.
It would be recalled that CP Nwonyi Polycarp Emeka, Commissioner of Police on assumption of duty in the Rivers State Police Command vowed that his administration will take battle to the hideouts of criminals, especially suspected Cultists, kidnappers and armed robberies.
