One-Chance Gang, Traffickers Nab In Rivers

 

Three suspected One-Chance Gang and some notorious child trafficking syndicate have been arrested by the Rivers state Police Command.

Briefing journalists at the State police headquarters, Port Harcourt by the command Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), SP. Grace Iringe-Koko, explained that on September 4, 2024 at about 9pm,” a police patrol team on sighting a gang robbing their victim around the Garrison flyover, chased and rounded them off while in their operational vehicle, a purple coloured Volkswagen golf 3 with registration number Rivers ABU738LS”

SP. Koko gave the names of the three suspects as “Thaddeus Sunday Ogu, age 42, a native of Njaba in Imo state, Chinogorom Eze(F) age 35 native of Ekpiga community in Enugu North Local Government Area and Favour Yusuf (F) 30yrs from Plateau State.

The police hinted that one of the suspect in an attempt to evade arrest opened fire on the police operatives but was over powered by the superior and trained hand of the officials.

Meanwhile, the state police command have also arrested another sets of child trafficking gangs and rescued the victim from being murder by the gangs on August 25, 2024 at about 6:35am, by operatives of the state command attached to Ubima Divisional Headquarters.
