Recently in the city of Port Harcourt about eight (8) ladies have been murdered in two months inside hotels in a similar manner using white cloth to strangulate them at their necks.

It is unreliably gathered that the so called rituals usually approach their preys being young girls in their twenties of age blankets and pretending to engage them for sex related escapades  which is normally called “Till Day-Break”—TDB among the commercial sex workers after paying substantial sum of money about ten thousand naira (N10,000) per night. But upon getting to the hotels, the “Get Quick Rich” having prepared his charms with his native doctors will allegedly ask the ladies to eat and drink whatever she wants after which high smelling fragrance coming from perfumery with be spread around the room and their targets will inhale good amount of these fragrance and gets weak and unconscious it is at this time that the lady’s nostrils will be covered with white handkerchief which will have special effect and spell for “money doubling” going to the “Yahoo boys” who quickly will leave a white cloth on the neck of the victim.

The Rivers state Commissioner of Police Mustapha DanDaura in a Press Briefing to journalists at Port Harcourt identified the facts that there is rituals angle to the deaths of girls at most hotel rooms and two of such hotels that violated laid down security rules have been closed down pending the outcome of investigations from his officers. And that some suspects have been arrested for interrogation which is yielding leading links and connections to 8-killings so far recorded in the state.

Few months ago, Yahoo Boys were using ladies’ pants underwear for ritual purposes across major cities in Nigeria and this resulted in the stealing of underwear belonging to ladies. Now the device by the suspected “Yahoo Boys”  according to Rivers state Commissioner is that they do not remove any part of the vital body organs but they must leave a piece of white cloth tied on the neck of the victims which collaborates with cultists activities now rampaging many communities in Rivers state.
